Meet Kris

Kris is a wine professional with more than 25 years’ experience in the industry split between his native New Zealand, the UK and Europe and also in Asia. He is a WSET Diploma (level 4) holder and has worked in most areas of the wine business from running his own importing and distribution businesses to managing restaurants, teaching wine education classes, creating his own wine brands and market specific blends. Having developed and delivered wine courses to consumers and hospitality professionals while running my own wine importing and distribution company in London, Kris has continued to deliver wine education to students since moving to Asia. These groups include sales teams from large food manufacturing & distribution companies, University hospitality programs, language schools and the general public in Taiwan. English Language Opportunities in the language teaching sector lead Kris to positions managing large English language institutions and training English as a Second Language (ESL) teachers in methodology and cultural awareness.
