Sparkling (Off-Dry) Grape varieties: Glera

Region: Veneto, Italy

Tasting Notes: Fresh notes of pear and apple with lime zest and lemon sherbet. Good persistent bubbles and a refreshing, clean finish.

Food Match: Seafood dishes, especially with a touch of sweetness such as scallops or prawns. Great to as an aperitif.

Tasting Notes

Crisp and refreshing with aromas of passionfruit, elderflower and lime. On the palate, fresh acidity with a mineral lime zest, green mango and grapefruit

Food Match

Great with oysters, Taiwanese style steamed whole fish with ginger, asparagus dishes and sashimi.

Wine Style
Dry red wine – full bodied.

Grape varieties: 70% Monastrell, 10% Tempranillo, 15% Syrah, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon

Region: Bullas, Spain

Tasting Notes :

Medium to full bodied with relatively high alcohol (15%) matched by rich, ripe dark berry and dried fruit flavours and a hint of bitter chocolate. Soft tannins and a little toasty, nutty element from 4 months in oak barrels.

Food Match: 

Great with bbqs, grilled meats, pizza and soft cheeses. Excellent on its own or try it with Zhu Jiao Mian Xian (豬腳麵線)

Tasting Notes : Aromatic with firm, but ripe tannins, dark blackberry fruit and hints of sweet spices like anise and allspice

Food Match: Can stand up to heavy dishes like beef stew or Taiwanese beef noodle soup. Try it with lu rou fan (滷肉飯)

Sommos Premium, Somontano, Spain

Wine Style
Dry red wine – full bodied. Grape varieties: Tempranillo Syrah & Merlot

Region: Somontano, Spain – Spain’s newest great wine region

Tasting Notes: A big, mouthfilling wine with complex, ripe dark cherry fruit and firm, but ripe tannins. Good acidity means the ripe flavours are balanced and the finish is long with toast, vanilla and some minerality. A real superstar!

Food Match: Fantastic with steak, spicy lamb dishes or game dishes like venison stew

Confronto, Collefrisio, Montepulciano d’Abbruzzo, Italy

Dry red wine – full bodied. Grape varieties: Montepulciano d’Abbruzzo & Primitivo

Region: Montepulciano d’Abbruzzo, Italy

Tasting Notes : Full bodied, full flavoured wine with rich, ripe cherry and licorice notes along with balancing acidity and a long finish with lingering black plums. Powerful wine.

Food Match: Italian classics like meat or cheese pizzas, or eggplant parmesan, to quality burgers. If you want something that can stand up to some spicy Korean or spicy(麻辣)hot pot, try this.
