E-learning Expertise, Government & International Organization Experience

Kris’ role as business development and ELT consultant with Vital English – an internationally acclaimed New Zealand online learning courseware and learning management system development company - led him into several training roles in Taiwan and Malaysia, particularly the training of university English departments in Blended Learning. In addition, he played the lead role in establishing opportunities for two large scale ELT projects for the Malaysian Ministry of Education via the English Language Training Centre (ELTC).

Malaysian Ministry of Education Service Provider Role

He brought together a consortium including Cambridge English, Auckland University, The Open University of Malaysia and Intellect Enhance, a Malaysian education provider. A large-scale project this was for a one-year program, the objective was English proficiency and teaching ability up-skilling for 9000 English teachers.
The second ELTC project was the consultation, needs analysis and subsequent proposal submission for the development of 2 courses – an E-moderator training course and English for Specific Purposes (ESP) training course.
